For this loft-style condominium, we were fortunate to be able to incorporate the homeowner's sofa and loveseat, as well as their entertainment center from the master bedroom. We add a large flokati rug here to add softness and artwork, pillows, and accent pieces to add personality. Our occasional tables and footlocker 'bar' also work well with the homeowner's chrome and beech furnishings. The space, while colorful, is also tranquil and inviting.
Capitalizing on the homeowner's vivid wall and accent paint choices, we set the stage here for a fun and lively dinner party. Artwork and placesettings accentuate and blend with the homeowner's choices while remaining in keeping with the softer palette and striped theme used in the living room space.
For the kitchen, we brighten the look by pulling in red accent pieces which compliment the dark countertops and provide continuity for the dining space and red accent wall in the adjoining entry way.
For this bold entry way with red accent wall, we chose a large French poster to mute and soften the look and add a smallish entry table to give the space a function while not obstructing the walkways, door swing or closet entry.
This downstairs half-bath was inherently dark so we chose to liven it up with artwork that pulls in the blue accent wall color found throughout the lower level. For this small space, a little color goes a long way in making it more appealing.
This fabulous and spacious deck is a focal point of the unit. While the homeowner's had some great furniture and plants, there was too much focus on the periphery so we rearranged their pieces to capitalize on the look and usability of this outdoor space.
For the upstairs hallway and office nook, we chose a 'gallery' effect using modern artwork pairs to give the space symetry and color. We also added a few pieces to the desk setup to give it purpose and style.
For the master bedroom with bay window we were able to incorporate the homeowner's bed, dresser, chair and ottoman (from the 2nd bedroom). We add linens, nightstands, a mirror and artwork to compliment the look. Here, we keep the color palette muted to give the bedroom a relaxing, comfortable feel.
The master bathroom already had great finishes and we remained in keeping with the green tones used here and added floral arrangement, towels, artwork, etc. to give it a more 'spa-like' appeal.
Since this 2nd bedroom is spacious and has adequate closet space, we opted for simplicity in its staging. Many times, deemphasizing staging in 2nd bedrooms is a good way to cut down on staging expense. Even simple staging gives this room a great deal more appeal.
This second bathroom comes alive with flowers, artwork and accent pieces giving it much more vitality. Here, we simply accentuate the finishes and colors to highlight the possitive aspects of the space.
